Bicycle Rental Agreement

Here you will find the terms and conditions for renting a bicycle with dp cycling. Please read this information carefully before making a reservation to ensure a safe and smooth rental experience

Conditions:

Cancellation and Modification of the Reservation
Cancellation up to 30 days before departure: 100% refund.
Changes or cancellation up to 15 days before departure: 50% refund.
Changes or cancellation up to 7 days before departure: 100% charge.
In case the bicycle is not picked up: no refund (100% charge).

Photography & Media Use
We may take photos and/or videos for promotional purposes, which may be published on our website, social media channels.
If you do not wish to appear in such photos or videos, you must inform us.

1. Accidents
"dp cycling" not liable for accidents.

2. Waiver of Claims
Client releases "dp cycling" from claims, assumes risks.

3. Traffic Fines
Client responsible for traffic fines.

4. Liability to Third Parties
Client responsible for damages to others.

5. Helmet Obligation
Helmet required in Spain.

6. Alcohol & Drugs
No participation under influence of alcohol/drugs.

7. Competition
No risky competitions / our insurance is not valid.

8. Deposit
Deposit covers damages or non-return.

9. Bike Value
Each bicycle value €6800 incl. taxes.

10. Condition
Bikes delivered clean & functional, check before departure; damages must be noted before signing.

11. Insurance
Without optional insurance, client is fully liable.

12. Damaged Parts
Repaired/replaced at market cost, charged if responsible.

13. Repatriation Fee
€1.50/km if dp cycling must recover bike/client.

14. Insurance Exclusion
Insurance void if under alcohol/drugs.

15. Assumption of Risk
Client accepts risks, liability and signs voluntarily.

16. Contract Reading
I have read and understood this contract.

dp cycling processes personal data (incl. copy of ID) only for rental identification, safety and liability. Data stored securely, retained only for contract duration, then deleted/destroyed. Not shared with third parties except when legally required in Spain.
