Experience a free pro ride on the Costa Blanca 16 January 2027
COMING TO BENIDORM FOR THE UCI CYCLO-CROSS WORLD CUP?
MAKE YOUR WEEKEND A CYCLING EXPERIENCE.
On Saturday, 16 January 2027, DP Cycling is organising a special cycling ride on the Costa Blanca together with former professional cyclist Nico Mattan and Patrick Deneut.
RIDE TOGETHER
Patrick Deneut knows the Costa Blanca like no one else and will take you on a beautiful and challenging route through the region.
Nico Mattan brings his experience from the professional cycling world. Together, Nico and Patrick will create a relaxed, sporty and above all enjoyable cycling experience.
We will ride together through the Costa Blanca, with one of the highlights being the ascent of the Coll de Rates.
Every cyclist is welcome. You can ride your own road bike or rent a premium bike from DP Cycling.
IN THE HEART OF THE PROFESSIONAL CYCLING WORLD
The ride takes place during the weekend of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup Benidorm, right in the middle of the winter training period for professional cyclists on the Costa Blanca.
Who knows, you may even meet some familiar faces from the professional peloton before or after the ride as they prepare for their race or winter training season on the Costa Blanca.
The presence of other professional cyclists depends on their racing and training schedules.
THE COLL DE RATES
The Coll de Rates is one of the best-known and most popular climbs on the Costa Blanca and a firm favourite among cyclists who come here to train.
Together, we will take on this iconic climb while enjoying the stunning scenery and the unique cycling atmosphere of the Costa Blanca.
STOP AT VELOSOL CYCLING BAR
Along the way, we will make a stop at Velosol Cycling Bar.
A moment to relax, enjoy a coffee and, of course, share experiences and stories from the world of cycling.
AFTER THE RIDE
After the ride, there will be an opportunity to enjoy lunch together.
Anyone who would like to join is welcome. Lunch is optional and at your own expense.
